Instructions

The purpose of this assignment is to research and critically analyze a corporate-level aviation safety program to evaluate its effectiveness, structure, and compliance with industry regulations. This analysis should demonstrate your understanding of aviation safety management principles and their application in a corporate environment. Here are a few points to address:

• Choose a corporate-level aviation safety program from a commercial airline, cargo carrier, general aviation operator, or aerospace company of your choice. Ensure that the program has publicly available documentation or sufficient research materials for an in-depth analysis.
• Provide an overview of the chosen corporation and its aviation operations and introduce the purpose of the company’s safety program.
• Explain the significance of aviation safety programs in corporate settings, describe the key components of the corporate safety program, and identify the governing regulations and industry standards it adheres to (e.g., FAA, ICAO, OSHA, SMS).
• Discuss the organizational structure of the safety program (e.g., Safety Manager, Safety Committees, reporting channels).
• Explain how the company identifies and mitigates safety risks and assess the company’s approach to fostering a strong safety culture.
• Finally, analyze the safety program's effectiveness and highlight key strengths and best practices.
